This September, OnZero will be present at Kaukolämpöpäivät 2026, Finland’s premier district heating conference, as both an exhibitor and a sponsor. The event takes place on 1 and 2 September 2026 at Tampere Hall in Tampere, drawing 350 to 450 professionals from across the Finnish district heating sector.
OnZero will be at Exhibition Booth 49, where the company will present its AI Heat Factory: a modular, liquid-cooled compute infrastructure that captures waste heat and delivers it as 95°C recovered thermal energy, directly into district heating networks, in place of fossil-fuel combustion.
The timing is significant. The Finnish district heating sector is under growing pressure to decarbonise, and the conversation at Kaukolämpöpäivät has increasingly turned to the question of how new heat sources can replace fossil fuel boilers at scale. OnZero’s model offers a direct answer: high-performance AI compute co-located with district heating infrastructure, turning the energy that would otherwise be vented into the atmosphere into a controllable, continuous heat supply.
It is a model that is already operational. OnZero’s sites in Kemijärvi and Kerava have been delivering heat to Finnish district heating networks since 2025, giving the company a concrete operational reference point to bring to the conversations in Tampere.
For district heating operators, energy utilities, and procurement decision-makers attending the event, OnZero’s booth will be an opportunity to see how the integration of compute infrastructure and heat networks works in practice, and what it could mean for their own decarbonisation roadmap.
