We are OnZero

We commence a new era of sustainable Data Centers. By recycling 99% of our excess heat, we achieve groundbreaking efficiency values. This means, we’re not only able to offer HPC co-location services, but also play our role in the energy transition by generating high temperature CO2-neutral waste heat. Additionally, proprietary software allows us to help prevent blackouts by offering our capacities to grid balancing markets.

Our History

2018

The Start

Originally founded as Blockbase, a self-computing Bitcoin company operating in Sweden with a focus on automation, remote monitoring software, and grid balancing integration. Provided services for a third-party High Performance Computing company listed in Canada.

Liquid-Cooled Servers

The company started using liquid-cooled servers and grid expertise to recover waste heat from data centers for sustainable reuse.

1. Pilot Site

First test site with Generation 1 Digital Heat Plant (DHP), co-located with district heating in Sweden.

Generation 2 DHP test site with improved High Performance Computing density and efficiency.

Kemijärvi Site in Operation

Finland expansion with Generation 3 DHP supplying high-grade heat.

Developed HPC data centers across Europe since 2015 and pioneered the integration of data processing servers into load balancing markets in the US and Europe.
