We are OnZero

We commence a new era of sustainable Data Centers. By recycling 99% of our excess heat, we achieve groundbreaking efficiency values. This means, we’re not only able to offer HPC co-location services, but also play our role in the energy transition by generating high temperature CO2-neutral waste heat. Additionally, proprietary software allows us to help prevent blackouts by offering our capacities to grid balancing markets.

The Start

Vlado and Alex join forces. After several years of consulting international data center companies, they want to build their own data center of dreams.

May - 2021

From Research to Concept

Technological development for liquid-cooled servers were slowly picking up, which allowed the founders to finally create their first concept and design drawing.

May - 2021

April - 2022

Proof of concept

CO2-neutral “Spillvärme” as the Swedes say. We proof that by recycling 99% of excess heat, we can help our partner VB Energi in Fagersta (Sweden) to keep Swedish homes warm in winter.

October - 2023

The next generation

Motivated by the success of our proof of concept, we design the “Digital Heat Plant” – our second generation Data Center, which can produce high-grade heat without the use of heat pumps.

June - 2024

Hei Finland!

OnZero signs the first contract in Finland. By placing two Digital Heat Plants in the city of Kemijärvi, close to Santa’s home town, we yearly safe 15.000 m3 of wood as we deliver CO2-neutral “hukkalämmöllä” recovered from our HPC processes.
